A promotional short film I wrote, directed, produced, composed and narrated to encourage Boise State students to attend a 17 hour Dance Marathon to raise funds for the St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Every chapter of Dance Marathon is required to set a fundraising goal at least 10% higher than that of the previous year’s.
The team raised their goal from $5,000 to $7,500. With the help of this film, they made $37,000 – a 640% increase, the likes of which had not been seen in the program in 20 years.
Using an updated version of the video for 2014-2015, they made $66,000.
